Katie Rogers is a young, enthusiastic actor who graduated in 2020 from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, with a First Class degree in BA(Hons) Acting and Performance.

Whilst studying at UCA, Katie has been trained by industry professionals such as Simon Money (Voice Coach at the National Theatre), Jonah Fazel (Bumper Blyton) and Gary Pillai (Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, Emmerdale). She has utilised approaches from practitioners such as Stanislavski, Mamet and Laban in both theatre and screen work.

Amongst her many skills, Katie is trained in stage combat, has performed in improvisation-based shows and has experience in radio drama. She has performed multiple times at the Farnham Maltings. Katie's London debut was at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, performing as part of the First Folio Staff Sharing.

Katie also devises and writes her own work. She specialises in comedy but enjoys experimenting with a variety of genres. You can see some of her work on her YouTube channel.

Katie is a founding member of Plenty of Rope Theatre, an emerging theatre company which aims to bring the performing arts to a fresh generation of audience. 

Katie also models and has skills in stage and screen design.

Katie is currently based in South East London and has a base in East Lothian. 

​

When not acting, Katie can be found as a tour guide at Shakespeare's Globe.
